How do I get a basketball agent?
Getting a basketball agent isn’t usually the first step in becoming a professional player. Most reputable agents only represent athletes they believe they can successfully place with professional teams, so they look for players who already have strong game film, verified statistics, quality competition experience, and a marketable basketball résumé.

Whether it’s an early morning shooting session or late-night skill development, you’ll have the flexibility to maximize your time and get the most from your experience.
How do I get to my accommodation when I arrive in Phnom Penh?
We’ve got you covered. Complimentary airport transfers are provided for all Asia Pro Basket players upon arrival in Phnom Penh. Whether you’re staying at our on-site accommodation at the training venue or at a nearby hotel, a member of our team will meet you at the airport and take you directly to your accommodation, making your arrival as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Where will I eat my meals?
If you’ve selected one of our meal packages, your meals will be freshly prepared and delivered directly to Playground for your convenience. If you prefer to explore on your own, Cambodia offers an excellent range of affordable restaurants, cafés, and international cuisine, with food delivery services available throughout Phnom Penh. Whether you choose the meal package or dine independently, you’ll have plenty of convenient options to suit your lifestyle and budget.
How do I get around Phnom Penh?
Getting around Phnom Penh is easy and affordable. Private tuk-tuks and air-conditioned cars are readily available through popular ride-share apps, making it simple to travel anywhere in the city. Most trips cost just a few US dollars, giving you a safe, convenient, and inexpensive way to explore, attend appointments, or enjoy your free time outside of training.
Which airport should I fly into?
International players should fly into Techo International Airport (KTI), Cambodia’s new international gateway serving Phnom Penh. Located approximately 20–30 km south of the city, the airport is around a 45-minute drive from the Asia Pro Basket training venue, depending on traffic.
Don’t worry about transportation—we provide complimentary airport pickup, and a member of our team will meet you on arrival and take you directly to your accommodation or the training venue.
What documents do I need to enter Cambodia?
Most international visitors will need a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond their arrival date, along with either a Tourist Visa (T-Class) or an Ordinary/Business Visa (E-Class), depending on the purpose and length of your stay. Many nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival, while others may choose to apply online before travelling.
If you’re joining Asia Pro Basket for an extended program or are considering coaching or employment opportunities while in Cambodia, we recommend applying for an Ordinary (E-Class) Visa, as it can be extended for longer stays. Short-term players attending a basketball program will generally find a 30-day Tourist Visa sufficient.
All travellers arriving by air must also complete Cambodia’s free e-Arrival Card within seven days before arrival. If you’re unsure which visa is right for your situation, simply contact the Asia Pro Basket team—we’ll guide you through the process before you travel.
If a team wants to sign me, will I return home first or go directly to the team?
It depends on the opportunity and the requirements of the team. Some players are invited to join a team immediately after completing the Asia Pro Basket program, while others return home before travelling to begin their professional contract.
We recommend arriving prepared for either scenario. Bring all essential documents, basketball gear, and personal items you may need for an extended stay, so you’re ready to take advantage of any opportunity that comes your way without unnecessary delays.
How should I prepare for an Asia Pro Basket program?
To get the most from your Asia Pro Basket experience, you should begin preparing several weeks before you arrive. Build a consistent training routine that includes basketball skill development, strength and conditioning, mobility, and recovery. The better prepared you are physically, the more you’ll be able to focus on performing at your best once the program begins.
Our programs are designed to replicate the demands of a professional environment. You can expect multiple hours of on-court training, skill development, competitive games, and additional individual workouts throughout the week. Preparing your body for this workload will help maximize your performance while reducing the risk of injury.

Does Asia Pro Basket guarantee players a professional contract?
No. Asia Pro Basket will never guarantee a player a professional contract or team, and you should be cautious of any organization that makes such promises.
